أحبط مفتشو الإدارة العامة للجمارك في مطار الكويت الدولي محاولة تهريب كمية كبيرة من مادة «الكيميكال» المخدرة، كانت بحوزة مسافر قادم من إحدى الدول الأوروبية.

وأوضحت الإدارة، في بيان صحفي أمس (الأربعاء)، أن عملية التفتيش في مبنى الركاب «T4» أسفرت عن ضبط 1197 ورقة من حجم «A4» مشبعة بالمادة المخدرة، بوزن إجمالي بلغ نحو 9.6 كيلوغرام.

وأضافت أنه تم تحرير محضر بالواقعة، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، قبل إحالة المتهم والمضبوطات إلى الإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات والخمور، لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية المتبعة.

Customs inspectors at Kuwait International Airport thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of the narcotic substance "chemical," which was in the possession of a traveler arriving from one of the European countries.

The administration clarified in a press statement yesterday (Wednesday) that the inspection operation at Terminal "T4" resulted in the seizure of 1197 sheets of "A4" size saturated with the narcotic substance, with a total weight of approximately 9.6 kilograms.

It added that a report was filed regarding the incident, and the necessary legal procedures were taken before referring the suspect and the seized items to the General Administration for Drug and Alcohol Control to complete the legal procedures followed.
