من المتوقع أن يعقد مفاوضون أمريكيون وأوكرانيون محادثات في ميامي غداً السبت. ووصف مصدر مطلع هذه الخطوة بأنها قد تمهد الطريق لعقد اجتماع آخر بين الرئيسين الأمريكي دونالد ترمب والأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، بحسب ما نقلت عنه وكالة «رويترز»، اليوم (الجمعة).

فرق عمل أوكرانية وأمريكية

وأعلن زيلينسكي اليوم أن فرق عمل أوكرانية وأمريكية ستواصل العمل على الوثائق الثنائية بين كييف وواشنطن، وستناقش صفقة شاملة للطائرات المسيرة خلال الاجتماع الذي سيُعقد مطلع الأسبوع القادم.

وأفاد زيلينسكي بأن الوفد الأوكراني سيضم مدير مكتبه كيريلو بودانوف ونائبه سيرهي كيسليتسيا، إضافةً إلى دافيد أراخاميا رئيس الهيئة البرلمانية للحزب الحاكم.

وقال المصدر إن أوكرانيا، التي تسعى إلى الاستفادة من خبرتها في التصدي لهجمات الطائرات المسيرة الروسية، تعمل أيضاً على وضع اللمسات النهائية على اتفاقيات مع عدة دول في الشرق الأوسط، في وقت تتصاعد فيه الحرب الأمريكية الإسرائيلية مع إيران.

تأجيل الاجتماع الثلاثي

وكان من المقرر في البداية أن تضم المحادثات مفاوضين من روسيا وأن تعقد في أبوظبي، مع التركيز على التوصل إلى تسوية للحرب المستمرة منذ أربعة أعوام، والتي اندلعت في فبراير 2022. لكن الاجتماع الثلاثي تأجل بعد اندلاع الحرب مع إيران في 28 فبراير الماضي.

وقال المصدر إن فريق التفاوض الأمريكي سيقوده المبعوث الخاص ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر صهر ترمب.

وأجرت أوكرانيا وروسيا هذا العام جولتين من المحادثات بوساطة أمريكية في الإمارات، كما عقدتا جولة أخرى في جنيف الشهر الماضي.

قلق أوكراني من رفع عقوبات موسكو

وقال المصدر إن أوكرانيا عبّرت للمسؤولين الأمريكيين عن قلقها البالغ إزاء تحركات واشنطن الرامية إلى رفع مؤقت للعقوبات المفروضة على مبيعات النفط الروسية، في وقت قفزت فيه أسعار النفط خلال الحرب مع إيران، مضيفاً أن روسيا حققت مكاسب بنحو 10 مليارات دولار في الأسابيع الأولى من الصراع.

وأضاف المصدر أن كييف حريصة أيضاً على مواصلة شراء الأسلحة الأمريكية رغم تركيز واشنطن على الشرق الأوسط، وفي ظل ما تعتبره «لحظة من الضبابية الكاملة».

ولفت إلى أن هناك بعض الاضطرابات في بداية العملية الإيرانية، لكن تسنى معالجتها، ولم نلحظ أية قرارات كبيرة بإعادة توجيه المخزونات الحالية أو تعليق الإمدادات.

وأضاف أن أوكرانيا طالبت منذ فترة طويلة بمزيد من صواريخ «باك-3» لمنظومات «باتريوت» الدفاعية التابعة لها، وأن مخزونها منها يتناقص.

ومن المقرر أن يلتقي مسؤولون أمريكيون وأوكرانيون مجدداً في كييف الأسبوع القادم، في ثالث اجتماع لصندوق الاستثمار لإعادة الإعمار بين الولايات المتحدة وأوكرانيا، الذي يستهدف إقرار أول مشروع استثماري مشترك بحلول نهاية مارس.

Ukrainian and American Working Groups

Zelensky announced today that Ukrainian and American working groups will continue to work on bilateral documents between Kyiv and Washington, and will discuss a comprehensive drone deal during the meeting scheduled for early next week.

Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian delegation will include his chief of staff Kyrylo Budanov and his deputy Serhiy Kyslytsia, in addition to Davyd Arakhamia, the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling party.

The source reported that Ukraine, which seeks to leverage its experience in countering Russian drone attacks, is also finalizing agreements with several countries in the Middle East, as the American-Israeli war with Iran escalates.

Postponement of the Tripartite Meeting

The talks were initially supposed to include negotiators from Russia and be held in Abu Dhabi, focusing on reaching a settlement for the ongoing war that has lasted for four years, which erupted in February 2022. However, the tripartite meeting was postponed following the outbreak of war with Iran on February 28.

The source indicated that the American negotiating team will be led by special envoy Steve Whitehouse and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law.

Ukraine and Russia held two rounds of U.S.-mediated talks in the UAE this year, and another round in Geneva last month.

Ukrainian Concerns Over Lifting Moscow Sanctions

The source stated that Ukraine expressed to American officials its serious concerns regarding Washington's moves to temporarily lift sanctions imposed on Russian oil sales, at a time when oil prices surged during the war with Iran, adding that Russia gained approximately $10 billion in the first weeks of the conflict.

The source further noted that Kyiv is also eager to continue purchasing American weapons despite Washington's focus on the Middle East, amid what it considers a "moment of complete uncertainty."

He pointed out that there were some disruptions at the beginning of the Iranian operation, but they were managed, and no significant decisions were observed regarding the redirection of current stocks or the suspension of supplies.

He added that Ukraine has long requested more "PAC-3" missiles for its "Patriot" defense systems, and that its stock of these is dwindling.

American and Ukrainian officials are scheduled to meet again in Kyiv next week for the third meeting of the reconstruction investment fund between the United States and Ukraine, which aims to approve the first joint investment project by the end of March.
